Presented in the “cinema” of the apse, the three-channel, synchronized video offers a historical overview of the use of ornamentation in Hungarian architecture, from Art Nouveau, through Modernism, to contemporary practices. First shown at the UIA conference in Tokyo, the film now has its Hungarian premiere at Műcsarnok.
Most of the films screened on the monitors behind the two columns of the apse are classical television profiles of renowned architects, or reports on events, though there are also a few very recent statements of artistic credo, as those of Ferenc Bán, Sándor Dévényi, Ferenc Török, or Attila Zakariás, who works abroad.
